Is access to Kiamika Regional Park free?

No, since 2022 an access fee is applicable to enjoy the Kiamika Regional Park. Access to the park is free for residents (the client must present an identification document of residence in the municipalities of Chute-Saint-Philippe, Lac Saguay, or Rivière-Rouge). Is it possible to camp outside of developed campsites?

No, you must camp on a developed campsite. You can reserve your site at www.reservoirkiamika.org or by calling 819 278-5402.

What is the arrival and departure time at the campsites?

If you have reserved a campsite at Kiamika Regional Park, you have access to it as of 12:00 pm. The day after your last night, you must have left your site by 11:00 am. However, nothing prevents you from enjoying the Park before your arrival (between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.) and after your departure from the site (between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.).

Is it possible to camp with a trailer on the territory?

Yes, specific sites have been set up for recreational vehicles in the Barrage area.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, we welcome visitors with their pets. We thank you for keeping your pets on a leash and for picking up after your pet.

Is camping with horses allowed?

Yes, however, it is necessary to contact the reception to make the reservation. In addition, in order to reconcile the different uses of the site, users are asked to pick up any garbage or other material generated by the presence of animals. Please be careful on the roads and avoid driving in waterways.

Where can I launch my motorboat?

Public launch:

Ste-Véronique sector, Montée Miron.
Chute-Saint-Philippe sector, Barrage sector.

Private boat launch :

At Cécaurel Outfitters, southern sector of the park.
At Aventures Kiamika, north sector of the park.

Please note that boat washing is mandatory!

Can we fish on the Kiamika reservoir?

Yes, it is not necessary to register with the Park to fish. You only need to have a Quebec fishing permit. You can purchase a seasonal or daily fishing permit:

What do we do with our waste?

You must sort (recycle-compost-vacuum) and return all your waste to the Kiamika Regional Park reception desk where bins are available. A waste container is available for campers and visitors in the Barrage sector.
