Wildlife observation
The wildlife spreads over several miles of water and forest.
The forests and waterways of Kiamika Regional Park are home to a variety of wildlife that can be observed with a little patience and attention.
By foot, canoe or kayak, come and discover the habitat of several deer; navigate alongside loons and terns; observe bald eagles and a wide variety of small furry creatures!
Water level
The Park is located on a reservoir.
The water level of the Kiamika reservoir is controlled by the Kiamika Dam and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change is responsible for this control.
Therefore, the water level and the apparent beaches on the reservoir vary from one season to another but also from one year to another!
